Collyer Bristow LLP has a long connection with US clients and US law firms. Our USA Desk is
headed by Daniel Simon who has
worked with US clients for over 15 years and travels to the USA regularly.
The firm acts for large numbers of US companies (in particular high technology) and for US
individuals.We are particularly aware of estate planning
and tax mitigation issues for US citizens (who are subject to US tax on their world-wide
assets) and how to deal with the tax implications of their becoming UK residents (where taxation is
based on residence and domicile but not citizenship).

As well as international and commercial litigation, we also undertake international arbitration -
partner Matthew Marsh holds a
Diploma in International Arbitration and is a practising arbitrator. We are members of the
International Court of Arbitration and the London Court of International Arbitration.
